One area of focus is adding a guard who can complement Luka Doncic, and Washington Wizards guard Malcolm Brogdon has emerged as an intriguing option.

Brogdon, a former NBA Rookie of the Year and Sixth Man of the Year, has built a reputation as one of the most reliable guards in the league when healthy.

NBA insider Jake Fischer revealed that Los Angeles is among several teams interested in Brogdon, with the Wizards open to sign-and-trade talks to facilitate a move.

The list of teams includes the Clippers, Suns, Warriors, Timberwolves, Pelicans, Kings, and Bucks, showing just how sought-after the 32-year-old guard remains despite recent struggles.

Brogdon’s 2024-25 season was marred by injuries and a dip in production. He played only 28 games and posted career lows in scoring and shooting percentages.

His overall career numbers are impressive: 15.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game, with a solid 38.8% accuracy from beyond the arc.
