The future Hall of Famer has yet to sign with a team after a solid year with the Denver Nuggets. Westbrook is far from the same player we saw in his time with the Oklahoma City Thunder; however, he proved to be a productive player, at least last season.
Westbrook is still on the lookout for a team, and according to Eric Pinus of Bleacher Report, he predicts Westbrook will land with the Sacramento Kings.

“The Nuggets changed direction after one season with Russell Westbrook (actually shifting before the end of the year, firing head coach Mike Malone and basketball executive Calvin Booth).
“The team has since acquired Cam Johnson, Jonas Valančiūnas, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Bruce Brown. Denver still has room to sign Westbrook, but it doesn’t appear inclined to do so.
“The Sacramento Kings stand out as his obvious next home, as they need a point guard to back up Dennis Schröder.
“Prediction: Westbrook signs a two-year minimum deal with a player option in Sacramento.”

Westbrook has been far from highly sought after this summer. The combination of his age, declining offensive efficiency, high-volume turnovers and inconsistent play plays a factor. He’s been at the forefront of some bone-headed plays the past handful of seasons, as it’s clear he is far from the MVP we saw in 2017.
The 36-year-old has struggled to adapt to the modern NBA style, which relies on long-range shooting and spacing, two things not in Westbrook’s wheelhouse.
The Kings could use all the help they could get at the point guard position. The nine-time All-Star could play some major minutes with the Mings as they lack depth at the point guard position. Although Westbrook is more on the decline rather than ascending, he still has some left in the tank.
Last season in his lone season with the Nuggets, he averaged 13.3 points per game, 6.1 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 1.4 steals while shooting 44.9 percent from the field and 32.3 percent from beyond the arc.
Westbrook finished seventh in Sixth Man of the Year voting.
The Kings aren’t expected to make much noise this season, but this pairing could give Westbrook the chance to put up strong numbers and keep Sacramento competitive on a nightly basis.
